奥运演讲稿
One world ,One dream .
Hello ,everybody ,delighted to make acquaintance to every one of you here .
Today is a common day .It s just as beautiful as usual .But today is also a very important day .It is after 493 days when the 2008 Olympic Games open. If we can combine the common and the special well ,we will be a well-qualified host when the day comes .
As to me ,the most important thing in Olympic Games is not winning but taking part, the essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well .
Olympism is a philosophy of life, exalting and combining in a balanced whole the qualities of body, will and mind. Blending sport with culture and education, Olympism seeks to create a way of life based on the joy found in effort, the educational value of good example and respect for universal fundamental ethical principles.
Kofi Annan has said :”the greatest moment of the race is not the touching of the wall ,or when one swimmer pull ahead of the pack .The greatest moment takes place before the pistol even fires ,when for a brief time ,no nation is greater or smaller ,stronger or weaker than anyone .For me ,that is the Olympic moment .”
An athlete aspires to be the best his or her country has to offer ,but ends up representing the best humanity has to offer .That is the strength found in the Olympic Games .
One world ,One dream .Let us make our world colored in our dream .Let us make our dream fulfilled in our world .
